Spreading Globalization (Advocate)

Globalization is a term that is obviously unable to be stopped. Since globalization occurs all around us, trying to withhold the effects of globalization is practically impossible. The term was first used in the discovery of new lands, from Colombus to voyages made by England and Spain to conquer other territories. Ever since, cultures have been clashing and creating new societies. With the use of technology and new media for communication, it has been proved that globalization is spreading into the world very fast, specially in the first half of the 20th century.
Other cultures have tried to resist this phenomenon. Middle Eastern societies, which consider "Westernization" a term that should not be followed, argue that globalization creates several disadvantages. Although it might create conflict, the benefits of globalization are enormous, and have always been clear. By allowing the spread of globalization, and the use of technology, we create a better society that contributes to helping one another. Globalization helps the economy of third world countries, and allows access to a new era where progress and innovation seem to be necessary. By allowing the spread of globalization, we contribute to the creation of a single market economy that contributes to the social development of every single country.
